Iran Press News website reported that during the Monday uprisings, protestors were suppressed using tear gas and live ammunition. Two young people died as a result and dozens were injured.

1,500 people have also been arrested by the regime, according to reports.

Various protest acts have continued in campuses across Tehran resulting in more arrests.
